GXTrust launches three USB microphones for streamers

Wed, 10th Jun 2026 (Today)

GXTrust has launched three new USB microphones for streamers, podcasters and gamers: two models in its Emita II line and the GXT 238 Auron.

The launch expands its audio range as more consumers create online video, audio and live streams from home and desktop setups.

The new products are the Emita II Streaming Microphone with Table Stand, the Emita II+ Streaming Microphone with Arm and the GXT 238 Auron Illuminated USB Gaming Microphone. Prices are €79.99 for the Emita II, €89.99 for the Emita II+ and €49.99 for the Auron.

Both Emita II models use a 16mm condenser capsule and a cardioid pickup pattern designed to focus on the speaker's voice while reducing background noise. They also include pop and wind filters. Their metal-alloy casing is fitted with an external shock mount to reduce vibration.

The main difference between the two Emita II versions is the mounting system. One comes with an adjustable desk stand for fixed desktop use, while the other includes an adjustable boom arm and desk clamp for greater flexibility in microphone placement.

The lower-priced Auron is aimed more directly at gaming and casual online communication. It uses USB connectivity and adds RGB lighting, and is available in black and white through Argos and Very.

Creator market

GXTrust is targeting a broad range of buyers, from first-time streamers to users with more established recording setups. The emphasis is on straightforward installation through plug-and-play USB connections, avoiding the need for separate audio interfaces or more complex configuration.

That approach reflects a wider shift in the consumer technology market, as brands try to capture demand from people producing content for Twitch, YouTube, podcasts and social media without moving into higher-priced studio equipment. Retailers have also widened their selection of creator accessories as streaming tools become more mainstream consumer purchases.

The Emita II table-stand version and the Emita II+ arm model will be sold through Argos and Very. The Auron will also be stocked by both retailers in black and white.

Broader range

Based in the Netherlands, GXTrust sells gaming accessories and related PC and console peripherals in more than 50 countries. It says it has more than 20,000 listings across local retailers, electronics chains, department stores, hypermarkets and online outlets.

The microphone launch places GXTrust in a crowded accessories segment where brands compete on price, ease of use and design rather than specialist studio features. Products in this category are increasingly marketed not only to dedicated streamers but also to remote workers, online students and consumers who want clearer voice audio for everyday calls.

For retailers such as Argos and Very, these products sit at the intersection of gaming, home working and creator technology, three categories that have increasingly overlapped in recent years. Buyers looking for a microphone for live streaming may also use the same device for work meetings, voice chat or recording short-form video.

GXTrust has built much of its brand around affordable gaming accessories, including mice, keyboards, chairs and headsets. Adding more creator-focused audio products gives it another route into desktop hardware sales as gaming audiences increasingly overlap with online creators and amateur broadcasters.

All three microphones are available now at €79.99 for the Emita II Streaming Microphone with Table Stand, €89.99 for the Emita II+ Streaming Microphone with Arm and €49.99 for the GXT 238 Auron Illuminated USB Gaming Microphone.
